What is your role in the company?

My role in the company is to create beautiful websites that the client will love. If you do not have a website for your company or if you do but it needs a serious renovation then you will come to us and it will be my job to make you the perfect website, to your specifications but also guiding you with what I think will work well and be an attractive website. I prefer designing websites that need a little creativeness because with a background of Fine Art and Photography, I like drawing unique designs for the decoration of websites as well as making sure all the colours and fonts flow nicely with the website.

What do you like about the Wedding Industry?

I like how everyone involved in wedding industry get on together, I think although obviously there is competition, generally everyone is very friendly with each other and help each other out like a big family.

What is the best part of designing a website?

I think my favourite part of designing a website is the final product, after hours of hard work, being able to look at the end result and knowing you designed and created the whole thing. Also knowing the client is happy with their new website is a huge relief because you know you have done a good job.

What would you say is the most important thing on a website?

The home page of a website, so the first page that comes up, I think is the most important part of a website because if someone is not interested by that first page, then they simply leave and you lose a potential client. Depending on the company, the first page needs to put your message across fast, but also needs to be appealing to your target audience. Most websites will have some kind of picture or photo which will relate to the individual company, this is always a good start because, as the saying goes, ‘a picture can tell a thousand words’, so can get your message across quicker.

Anything on Websites that you don’t like?

One of the most frustrating things on some websites that I really cannot stand is when the logo does not link back to the home page or when there is no obvious link back to the home page, this is the sort of thing that would make me leave a website because the navigation is not clear enough. Also if a website starts making any kind of noise, like music, when it comes up, or if a website is using Flash and takes about 10 years to load, it will be closed down instantly.

A few words about yourself?

Well at 19 I am the baby of our company, but that definitely does not mean I am the quietest. I get told to shut up a lot. If I am not at work then I will most probably be with my best friend causing havoc somewhere as we are practically inseparable. I have A levels in Fine Art, Photography and Art History so I am an artist at heart, and I paint large canvases, either for myself or for other people, in my spare time which I looove doing. I also love to travel and have been to quite a wide range of places including: New York, Tokyo, Austria, Germany, Spain and France. The plan for my next destination will hopefully be Australia! Right I think that is more than enough about me but anything else you would like to know then just send me an email. One last thing… I have dyed my hair over a hundred times and it will not stay the same for more than a month.
